A door viewer is a fish-eye type of lens that is installed in a small hole in your door. While looking through the peephole from the inside, you get a wide-angle view of the outside.
Installation of this invaluable security device is quick and easy:
- Simply mark the position on your door where you want to install the viewer
- Drill a 14 mm diameter hole through the door
- Slip the Privacy Flap over the Retaining Barrel and slip the barrel into the door from the inside
- Slip the Optical Barrel into the door from the outside and screw the two barrels together (the slot across the rear of the Retaining Barrel will help with this operation) until the unit is firmly and securely seated.
